Zyrieda Denning
MBBS FRCS FFAEM, DIRECTOR
Zyrieda is a qualified medical Doctor with many years past experience in the NHS. Having recognised the need for high quality, professional care and nursing for the elderly, she opened her first nursing home in April 2000. Zyrieda ensures a high quality of care in all her homes whilst providing comfortable homely decor, to provide a nursing home that is their home. Zyrieda has written and published a book about 5-a-day nutrition and is very keen to ensure delicious healthy meals, with choice and diversity.
Swarup Khadka
ADMINISTRATOR / REGIONAL MANAGER
Swarup joined our care homes in 2010 and has a vast experience as business manager. He has Level 5 ICQ leadership and management and NVQ 5 in management and leadership as well as higher level apprenticeship in management and leadership. He has recently been promoted to Responsible Individual with Cqc and business regional manager across all 3 of our care homes.

All residents shall be considered as individuals with their own special needs or wishes.
We regard all who live and work here as one large family.

Staff shall use and develop their knowledge and skills to improve our residents’ well being, quality of life and give comfort to all.
It is our intent to be aware of each person’s holistic, emotional and spiritual needs and to make each feel secure and cherished.
We aim to see beyond the ailing body or mind, to the unique humanity, which we all share.
Surakshya Long
RN, HOME MANAGER
Trained in Nepal, starting at Maple House as a nurse in 2005, with excellent standards of nursing care and ability, she was promoted to deputy manager. Surakshya proved excellent leadership and training skills, with highly praised interpersonal relationships skills by residents, relatives and other healthcare professionals. In 2018 she became registered home manager and has completed level 5.
Brandon Long
RN, BSc, CLINICAL NURSE MANAGER
Brandon has been at Maple House Care Home since 2006. He qualified as a nurse from Kings College London and has Physiology BSc as well as a trained tutor for Moving and Repositioning/Firest Aid Trainer and Infection Control.
Srijana
CLINICAL TEAM LEADER
Srijana qualified in Nepal and continued her career in England since 2006 where she has worked in the NHS and in 2012 joined Maple House. Srijana is the clinical team leader having completed her level 5 in Diploma in Management, and now brings her experience and training to Maple House.
Janice Waitford
ACTIVITIES ASSISTANT
Janice started at Maple House in 2019. She loves to make people happy and engaged them in different curriculum activities. She is such a nice story teller and a qualified physical trainer.
Gareth Smith
MAINTENANCE
With a broad experience of building maintenance and repair, Gareth has been at Maple House since 2011. Carrying out day to day maintenance to ensure that the home is to a safe, efficient and functioning standard.
Audie Lingham
CHEF
Working at Maple House Care Home since 2013 and in the industry for 22 years. He trained in the Ramada Jarvis Hotel group winning 1st place and 2nd place catering awards. He specialises in cake decoration and vegetable carving.
Alina Gurung
ADMINISTRATOR
Alina has been at Maple House since 2019, with her multitasking abilities, her organizational skills, good computer skills and good communication skills she has been promoted to Administrator. She is also trained tutor for
Moving & Handling. She works along with all the staff, management, residents and relatives.
Sarah Lewis
RECEPTIONIST / PA
Sarah has worked at Maple House since 2010 and works
closely with relatives, staff, residents and external
healthcare professionals. Helps to organise the day to day
running of the home.
